TBOLT is a league designed for fun. Under NO circumstances will profanities or inappropriate conduct be tolerated. Being drunk for a race would be considered one of these things. Everyone must have fun. Always try to remember that we are doing this because we enjoy it. Things may happen during the race which cause people to get angry but always try to keep a positive attitude. No abusive chat during the race. Abusive chat of any type will not be tolerated during the race. Any use of offensive language or abusive chat towards another driver will result in a one race suspension. If you are angry with another driver, save it for after the race when it will not be a distraction and annoyance to every other driver on the track.
RULE (1) LEAGUE CONDUCT
RULE (2) DRIVERS
To compete in the TBOLT, drivers must have applied to the director and been approved. Races will be password protected, with only approved drivers receiving the password. Anyone obtaining a password by other means will be banned from the league, along with the person who gave them the password.
RULE (3) CARS,MAKES,AND MODELS.
A car number which is not already chosen may be picked by a competitor for the season. The car chosen to be raced must be sent to the league or in the existing carset. This car must be used in all Online practices, Happy-Hours, Qualifying, and Race events. Allowed makes and models are: Chevrolet - Monte Carlo, Camaro Pontiac - Grand Prix, Firebird Buick - Riviera Oldsmobile - Intrigue Ford - Taurus Dodge - Intrepid, Avenger,Viper,Stratus Please, if you use a model, please make the car actually have the appropriate styling for that model. If not, the body will not be approved for league use.
RULE (4) PAINT SCHEMES, SPONSERS,AND NUMBERS.
All paint schemes and sponsors must be in a Nascar styled scheme. Meaning that no sponsors on the rear bumper (small manufacturer logo ok), #'s on both sides and roof, etc. Basically, make it look like a real race car. The officials have the right to refuse any paint scheme deemed inappropriate. When a sponsor is chosen by a competitor, that sponsor is not allowed to be used as a primary sponsor by other competitors. As an associate sponsor is allowed however. A number may only be chosen once. This is on a first come, first serve basis. The #100 may be used as 100, or 00 on the car. 101 may be used as 101 or 01 on the car. This continues for all 3 digit numbers up to 109. 110 must be 110, and not 010. Note, the game will still score you as 100, not 00.
RULE (5) WARP PROBLEMS.
When warp does occur it’s best to hold your speed and line. When able, move higher or lower to see if the problem is going to continue. If you are warping, it is best to fall to the back or pit to see if the condition will clear. If the condition does not improve you must leave the race before you cause an accident. If you gain positions by warping, you MUST immediately slow and try to regain your previous position. If you do not, you shall be penalized the positions you gained at the end of the event. Do not slam on the brakes or something stupid as such however. Alert the other drivers that you warped, and are now lifting a little to regain your previous position. The drivers who were behind you will probably be more then gracious to let you back behind them.
RULE (6) CHATTING DURING RACE AND QUALIFYING.
Absolutely NO chatting during qualifying. No exceptions to this rule. If you have a problem, this can't be dealt with during qualifying anyway, so don't ruin it for the other drivers. During the race, the only chat text to be used is auto-chat giving other players your intentions, e.g. Pitting pass high, Slowing for caution, etc..... Each drivers auto chat should be modified to have their racing name before each text, to help identify to the other drivers who is speaking. Driver(s) are able to use chat to notify officials of connection problems such as excessive warping that causes problems, car stuck at start/finish, etc. Once an official recognizes the driver(s) complaint the matter will then be handle (if possible) by the official. Once the official has acknowledged the issue there will be NO future discussion regarding this matter until after the race unless brought up by the official.

RULE (7) STARTS AND RESTARTS.
No passing on left at start and restarts...No passing below line except to avoid accidents...Let's keep pace laps clean, No lagging behind to get a run at start. Try to keep the distance between you and the car in front of you to, at most, a car length.Absolutely no intentional wrecking, We know accidents will happen but we will review any questionable contact. Please hold your line until the back strech, then let the racing begin... As always please use caution when making your pass, and give each other plenty of room...
RULE (8) RACING BACK TO THE LINE.
It's ok to race back to the yellow, but causing a wreck while doing so isn't. Remember the "Gentlemen's rule" when lapped traffic is trying to get a lap back and when you pass start finish during a yellow don't slam on brakes, there maybe racing still going on behind you.
RULE (9) BLACK FLAGS
Abide by all black flags, you will be Disqualified for not serving penalty.
RULE (10) RULES...
Rules may be modified or added if need be. You're input is very important and will be well accepted. Remember this is a start up league, so we realize we have alot to learn.
